Pikes Peak Community College is a comprehensive public two-year College that offers associate degrees and certificates in over 125 areas. Programs provide freshman and sophomore level college courses for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, occupational training for employment in technical and vocational fields, courses to upgrade present occupational skills, courses for personal and a-vocational growth, and remedial instruction to develop skills necessary to pursue educational or personal objectives.

Degrees: Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, and Associate of General Studies degrees, and a Certificate of Achievement are offered. Degrees and certificates vary according to educational program.
  
Locations: PPCC has several campuses located throughout Colorado Springs: Centennial Campus, Rampart Range Campus, Downtown Studio Campus, and the Falcon Campus. Classes are also offered at Peterson AFB (students must possess a military I.D. card) and Fort Carson. Business and industry training is provided by Economic and Workforce Development a division of PPCC located at the Downtown Studio Campus.
  
Schedule: Day, evening, and weekend classes are offered on the semester system. Fall and spring semesters are 15-weeks in length with some 7 ½ - week bi-semester and 5-week tri-semester courses. Ten-week classes are offered in the summer with 5-week bi-semester classes. Open-entry, open-exit courses are available and allow students to enter and complete course objectives at their own pace. Classes conducted on the military installations follow an 8-week term and are offered five-times each year. These courses are basic general education classes which are transferable to any Regionally Accredited school. Registration for distance learning opportunities are available through all campus locations. These include internet courses, telecourses, and televised interactive instruction.
 
Admission: The College has an open door admission policy. Those who are at least 17-years of age may apply for admission and will be considered on the basis of their ability to complete courses successfully. ACT/SAT scores or a high school diploma are not required for admission to Pikes Peak Community College.
 
Tuition: Financial aid, VA benefits and scholarships are available to qualifying applicants. Deferred Tuition Payment Plan is available. For current tuition and fees information please contact PPCC. Tuition and fees are subject to change with governing board approval. MasterCard, VISA, and personal checks are accepted.
 
Accreditation:        PPCC is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association; Colorado State Board of Nursing; American Dental Assistants Association.
